I'd forgotten about this. Production I.G's last video game-based anime, World Destruction, turned out pretty well so I'll be giving Sengoku Barara a look for sure, despite not ever having played the game (as was the case with World Destruction).

Technically World Destruction wasn't based on a video game. It's a multimedia franchise; the anime and the manga both aired/came out before the game released.

The anime actually differs a bit from the game, so make of that what you will.

Damn..I just realized the cast of well known Seiyuu for this show is gonna be huge..nice.
