As someone who has watched all 103 episodes of D.Gray-Man (and eagerly hoping for a continuation in the near or far future), I have to say that most of the music in this collection is quite superb. INNOCENT SORROW took some getting used to for the first couple of listens (mainly due to the awkward breaks in the song) but after that, it ranks high on one of my favorite anime OP songs ever. Very Happy However, Doubt & Trust is still my No. 1 pick. That song is pure adrenaline.

Oh, for the DVD animations, the only real animation is for the openings. The endings are nothing but pan stills that the producers always like to use to create a faux emphasis on the characters in each scene. While the designs are lovely, I wish they actually put some real animation into the EDs.

You really ought to watch the D.Gray-Man anime. It's one of the better JUMP series out there right now. The BGM in this series by Kaoru Wada is also flat out amazing. The only real complaints I had about this series was the amount of filler hell that was prominent in the first season and the show's abrupt ending due to the production catching up to the manga.

That said, I can't wait to see FUNimation's release of this show. Smile I'm hoping that this show's dub will be just as (if not more) amazing than Fullmetal Alchemist.

I got my copy for $40.
That seems to be the most common and cheapest price that you can find it for.(at least, the cheapest that I could find it for)

I need to find out where to get it first before I can even pick this one up. Anyone have suggestions as to where I can look?

This isn't why the show ended. Unfortunately it was canceled due to tanking in ratings/popularity Sad As much as I'd like to see it back, I doubt we will anytime soon, most likely ever. Especially if Hoshino keeps having to take long hiatuses from the manga.

I know this is an old thread, but its the most recent one. I was wondering if anyone knew when they were going to start up the anime again?

Well as to the price of the first 2 DVDs it cost me 54.99. Yeah i know thats a ridiculous price for first 13 epsidoes but the dubbing is beast. They made Kanda sound like byakuya on steroids. Very Happy
As a devoted fan i hope everyone who butys the funimation version is as pleased as i am.
