I'm intrigued now. What, if anything, does 'Nyan Nyan Nyan' mean in this context?

Bobby. I didn't think minor characters were allowed to be that awesome.

The Japanese get to do and see all of the cool things. I am very envious of them.

Cool. Sounds like a time.

BTW, can somebody show me where 'deculture' is considered an expletive in Zentradi? I don't remember it from Macross, Plus, Zero, or the new one...

Well in the original SDF Macross, when Misa & Ikaru (AKA Lisa & Rick for you Robotech fans) kissed in front of Lord Dolsa (Dolza) he exclamied "Deculture". Not sure if it was meant to be an bad word.

"Expletive" doesn't mean just bad words, even though most people think of them just in that way after the (expletive deleted) Watergate tapes. "Expletive" means anything that someone would exclaim, or use to fill a dialogue line.

In Macross Frontier episode twelve, the one of the Zentradi exclaims "Yakh Deculture" when Ranka is singing, and he certainly doesn't mean it as a swear. It is almost a sign of praise or affection.

Thanks. I've got to say I've never seen expletive used in that way.

Let me get this straight, there's going to be a party in a shopping district to "launch" a ship that only exists in a cartoon? Could it be just another excuse to cause mayhem to the rest of the shoppers and businesses, making otaku even more endeared?

Anybody else hoping that somebody will fly a single-person jet through the presentation and show up whoever is speaking? Wink

(God I loved that show.)

I suggest you look up what type of shopping district Akihabara is.
