Sorry, but I've got to say it. We made this possible.
In other words, it was because one of us (the siblings who use this account) had been in contact with Furuya Tooru that we could ask him to come to Finland. We got him to do an interview for a fanzine I used to write for, and this fanzine was run by Tsubasa, one of the organisers of Desucon. So Tsubasa asked my sister to mail Tooru and ask him if he'd like to come to Finland. Many e-mails and a long time later, it was confirmed. I'm so happy I'll be able to meet the great guy that is Furuya Tooru. And I hope he'll have a wonderful time with us! |

But I've got a question: how did you manage to get ANN to put your press release on the front page? Tohru Furuya had been here in Taiwan and was the only seiyū who allowed everyone to take photographs, but I could never have similar events on the front. |

We did nothing special - just sent them that hastily-written press release (that even lacks the website URL). I guess the words "for the first time in Europe" did the trick. |
