Rushing Beat was better known here as Rival Turf, a game clearly not afraid to cash in on the L.A. riots. Laughing

Best SNES import no one played. Well, after Super Ninja Boy, anyway.

When did Sega first realize that everyone was laughing at the storylines and dialogue in House of the Dead games?

I'm guessing after the Uwe Boll film. Wink

Oh, and I'm surprised you mentioned Early Reins, but not Thousand Arms.

That Ultimate Genesis Collection...I wonder if it's worth it since I already have the PS2 collection.

Will Deathsmiles ever be published outside Japan? It has so much going for it. Too bad most games are region locked for the 360. I hate that they still practice that in this day in age of gaming. Makes me so frustrated..., but I still hold hope for seeing Deathsmiles next to a N.A. published Idol M@ster game... someday.

It's a good time to be a zombie fan, but Retro Game Challenge is on my list as well.

Atlus USA pushed back a few titles (Tokyo Beat Down, Hammerin’ Hero, The Dark Spire and Steal Princess) a couple weeks back. Not too drastic, but I really wanted to try the classic Dark Spire on the DS.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 comes out in Japan in March.

And, get this, EA is making a Dead Space game for the Wii.
Wowzers. Check out their statement. It doesn't say much, but it seems like it's a new game added to the series rather than a port, but we'll see.

If yours already has as much Sonic and Golden Axe on it then I'd say no. Although the thought of playing Altered Beast again just to laugh at it is tempting. A friend had a buggy copy that would start off with what sounded like a parody of SNL where it said, "Live from your grave... It's meet your doom."

Oh my god, I totally played that game!! I didn't remember it being so super-anime-tastic, but I may have played that before my anime awakening.

This collection has a couple more games in it. I have a Sonic Mega Collection for my Xbox, though, so really, that negates the need for a Sonic compilation. And Beyond Oasis I have on my Virtual Console.

Leaving Streets of Rage, and I don't think even the complete trilogy in one box is worth it.

EDIT: Holy SHIT, I forgot about Kendo Rage! Now look what you did, I have to go hunt down the (strikeout)ROM(strikeout) LEGAL CARTRIDGE VERSION now.

(We really need a strikeout option, dammit.)

Isn't R-Type Dimensions actually coming today? Wasn't up yet though.

Hahaha... I am so getting X-Blades. I'm sorry, but any company called Gaijin Entertainment that can actually make an "anime-style" action game and get it published has earned my money, if not my distaste and eventual ridicule. xD

Something tells me the game won't be very GOOD, however.

but then you were apparently replaced by a pod-spawned alien clone who...lent his name and art to awful anime.

Hey! "Real Drive" was good! And if it weren't for the ending, I'd say "Ghost Hound" was as well.

If you've ever wanted to hear Motoko Kusanagi call someone a motherf*cker, Afro Samurai is the game for you.

As a GitS: SAC fan, this might just be worth it... but I'd have to buy an XBox 360 1st. Maybe I'd better see the anime before getting an XBox & this game... Neutral BTW, my bad for censoring, but I can't imagine Maj. Motoko calling anybody a MF'er!

The only games that interest me that is not on the PS 2 collection is some of the Sonic Games (which I already own with Sonic collection) are the two Shining Force game, and I would just buy the GBA version of Shining Force since it has a better plot, more characters (hence the better plot) and upgrades for the two secret characters that ditches Mushashi's samurai armor for a more kickass swordsman clothes, although sadly Mushashi's character potrait never changes.

Ha. Awesome the Game Center CX game. That show is hilarious. Arino is so bad sometimes.... alot of times... most of the times. I hope TN fansubs the rest of the series.

I was kind of surpsrised that Raidou Kuzunoha 2 was left out of the news again, but I guess the Ps2's kind of obscure now.
Oh, and Atlus Japan announced the release date for Persona 1 on the PSP, too.

Nah, get a PS3. It's one of the best Blu-ray players on the market. But I'd wait just a bit longer for the eventual price drop.

I might rent the Afro game to hear the Major be a potty mouth, though it might scar me for life. Laughing
