Moe boys based on warring countries is funny.

Moe boys based on train lines is pointless and stupid.

That is all.

These guys are so ridiculously bishonen-y that it's a bit sickening. Moe anthropomorphism is cute when it has real relevance, but this is just moe for moe's sake...

More proof that 'moe' doesn't mean anything.

Well at least we get some moe boys every once in a while..
Still this is a pretty lame concept. I mean train lines? What's next television channel moe boys? Ryo Kawasaki is NHK-kun, Hiroshi Yamada is TV Tokyo-kun, Taro Matsumoto is Nippon News Network-kun Rolling Eyes

That most certainly makes for a not so daily link. It also makes me not want to ride the Chuo Line at certain places.

Ooh, Shinjuku! I approve of this Smile Heh, if the stations were turned into moe girls in color-coordinated maid outfits or military uniforms with panties, no skirts, this topic would have 3 pages of replies Anime hyper

Yeah, It seems like a lot of female anime fans can't appreciate moe boys unless they are about to go all yaoi. It's a shame Anime smallmouth

I'm more surprised that Chuō Line took the idea faster than Yamanote Line; the latter has the (in)famous Otome Road near its Ikebukuro Station.

Yamanote line has too many important stations, frankly.

You'd need a character for Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Akihabara, Tokyo, Yurakucho, Shinagawa, Meguro, Ebisu, Shibuya, AND Harajuku, and even then I'm sure I've alienated 50% of tokyo...

Just looks like a lame attempt at cashing in on Hetalia's success to me. The webcomic even seems to be trying to emulate Himaruya-sensei's style. Rolling Eyes

Chuo Line, the heavily travelled Japan Railways train line that runs east to west through the heart of Tokyo

Interesting rolling stock on those lines, the E233 units especially. Probably a good sight better than the third-rail EMUs trundling their way around my city.

Those 1067mm Cape guage lines always has such an exotic allure to folk like me raised on Standard guage...

There's far worse examples of anime anthropomorphization. Ever seen those anime girls cosplaying as Transformers? Seriously.

"You boys are very useful stations, I'm very proud of you." said the jolly moe fat bloke with the bald head.

It would have been a better idea if they anthropomorphized the trains instead. Wait?......

Well, considering Japan has a mascot for almost anything nowadays, it's about time they started on their transportation system. (Mmm, the leader has glasses...)

Disturbing in ways I had previously never imagined. I am now going to avoid the Chuo line whenever possible. Confused

But seriously, no Iidabashi? Come on! Smile
