I thought Jun Fukuyama won the Personality award, not Hiroshi Kamiya? Or was the last article a typo?

figures that Jun Fukuyama wins overseas...no one saw that coming did they <_<

Nice to see Kouichi Yamadera win the Kei Tomiyama Award...especially with Evangelion 2.0 coming out this year Very Happy

Looks like Kugumiya is the only returning seiyuu from last year.

I think that Jun Fukuyama's fun to hear and all, but Hiroshi Kamiya definitely deserves what he's been awarded with.

I'm interested in seeing what Japan favoured out of his performances, however. I think that Natsume Yuujinchou wouldn't be the same without him, though I'm guessing that he's more known for his Zetsubou Sensei or Gundam 00 performances.

Basically, I just want to know how popular Natsume Yuujinchou is over there, while it's basically getting no attention over here when it's the best slice of life/spiritual anime I've ever seen, in my opinion.

Very Happy It's a great year for Kamiya and he deserves it. I remember that he won Best Supporting Actor with Ono Daisuke last year so it's a big up from that.

lol, never trust 2ch (100%)

and no kamiya-san also got best supporting last year =) but he should have got the male lead last year... whatever. now he gets what he deserves!

Kamiya is one of the most talented seiyuu in the biz and I am THRILLED that he won top honors this year. HiroC!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's so cute with that huge smile of his in the photos.

I'm looking forward to next week's DGS. I'm sure they'll mention the Seiyuu Awards.

Am I the only one who mistakenly thought that the New Actors winners where the new ACTRESS winners?

I did a double take when I saw that the line new actress winners below two people who I thought where women.

I have to agree. I think Natsume Yuujinchou is probably the best series I've ever seen, period, and Hiroshi Kamiya is wonderful as Natsume. I believe fansubbers got a C&D on season 1 at least, so I hope that means it's being licensed as we speak.
