Reading the press release, it seems like Kawashima Ai is not going to be at the event in person. They are going to do a video introduction and play a video message from her.
It does say that she will make an US appearance at a later date, though. |

Joy. I wanted to go, but I just remembered that my school's freshman trip is on that day. And I already paid my $185 for that...Oh well. At least it's not that bad (2 hour wax museum tour, then I get to see Shrek on Broadway.
 ) but I still would've wanted to go.

Well, if you live a bit farther south, Ai Kawashima is going to perform at the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC on April 4th!
So, I'm sad I can't make it up to NYC this weekend, but hell yes I'll be at the Sakura Matsuri to hear her sing there instead! |

Hey everyone,
I was just browsing and I saw this. I really hope that Ms. Ai Kawashima will be performing at the Sakura Matsuri. I would not miss her performance for anything!! |
