While I love the show the DVD releases are annoying. I'm disappointed to see that vol.3 only has the manga as a DVD ROM preview; I wish all the volumes had come as DVD/manga sets--I really liked the manga's focus on more perverted humor.

Well i'll be only doing the manga. As for the series, forget it.Since it's with media blasters,it means no dub version and since i'm a hardcore dubber.i'm not gonna bother unless my sister begs me to buy it or the do a dub version in a Box Set.

I don't think it would have worked.

The 10 minute episode times left little for a dub to build and improve on. How much could it have added to such a short series that I already feel ripped off by owning all three volumes?

My favorite running gag in the series: "Justice!".... "Sora!".... would not change with a dub.

A very funny series, that I am very bitter about owning.

Exactly. Media Blasters is either full of complete idoit's or is just that stupid not to include a dub track. But like Jr0904, I won't watch this since there isn't a dub. And I sure won't buy this, considering how Media Blasters decided to put Genshiken two on TBA.

I'm just questioning why they released 3 single DVDs of a short series that could've easily been dumped all at once on a 1 or 2 disc set. Decent series, but I'm waiting for the collection.

And Zalis116, with all due respect, I am still wondering why Media Blasters didn't release Genshiken two earlier when they easily had the chance.

But to be frank, nothing Media Blasters does anymore surprizes me. Maybe they thought releasing indivivdual volumes would sell more?
