Just a little note - Christopher Nolan (of Batman fame) seems to have nothing to do with this film. IMDB quotes Chris Nahon as a director.

The stream wasn't working for me, but I found a mirror on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GLcjNMkAB8

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but the recent DVD release of Underworld: Rise of The Lycans contains a full trailer for Blood.

It looked ok, not sure if I will see it, though.

Hmmm, I hate to say it, but that five minute chunk kind of shows that what looks cool in anime doesn't always translate to looking cool in live-action. Still, I'll probably check it out if it plays in Toronto.

Well...

They did show more violence in the first 5 minutes than in the anime. The agent and the agency is a lot less pro-Saya this time around.

With little room the maneuver, they both really had only one shot. So it was in essence a short duel.

It looked okay. You could definitely feel the tension from the demon's/vampire's perspective.

I hope it is at least better than Dragonball Evolution was. Confused

Sony Pictures will release it, eh? So does that mean they're going to treat it the same as the anime? Release the first 25 minutes of the movie then leave us waiting a year(s) for the rest of it. Rolling Eyes

IMDB says that it will be released in July 1009. Dunno why the US release date wasn't posted. Either way, I am stoked to go see it as soon as I can when it comes out here in the states Smile

I'm glad too see that this is getting a North American theatrical release. I'll definately be seeing this in theatres and I want to pick it up when it gets released as well. (hopefully BD)

Also will Sony be releasing Part 2 of the Blood+ at some point? Seriously WTH?

Probably because there is nothing official yet.

Uh just my opinion, I did not see a chevalier in any trailer so this movie does not seem to hold completely true to the series but maybe I did not look hard enough.
