I see Aniplex is producing but are they doing the animation production or just the general produce? Wonder if Kyoto will get this if that's the case

Lol Haruhi isn't Key, it's Kadokawa and Kyoto's working. If Kyoto does the Animation for this you bet ^^

I don't think Kyoto Animation has ever produced the animation for an Aniplex show before. I would suspect that Kyoto Animation (through Pony Canyon) will continue producing anime for the mainline Key games, but Aniplex decided to help fund this project to get a piece of the action (possibly with A-1 or someone else doing the actual animation work). Of course, time will tell...

Heh, yet another animated adaptation of a game greenlit before the game actually comes out (and in this case, it's barely into production...)

By the way, whenever ANN uses 2ch as a source, they seem to never actually post a link to the actual thread on 2ch...

WHAT HAPPENED TO LITTLE BUSTERS AND PLANETARIAN?!

Honestly, I am not surprised this is getting animated since it's Key, but what happened to the other two that I mentioned? I heard there were plans for it, but never officially announced. Also, I thought this game wasn't out yet Question

Uhh, they've never really said it's a game.

I'm both surprised and intrigued that they're skipping the VN route entirely this time. Oh well, Jun Maeda's scenario equals me watching regardless.

Please, someone else besides KyoAni this time? It's nothing against KyoAni, it's just boring knowing what to expect.

So they're skipping a Little Busters anime adaptation & moving onto one that hasn't even come out yet? How odd.

Odd, yes, but I don't think there will be a game for this one.

A movie would probably work better for Planetarian than an OVA :\
