Shouldn't One Piece fans be ashamed that the best their beloved manga could get is 10 on some weekly bestseller list for manga?

That's not monthly just weekly.

Haruhi? Yeah the light novel and anime are good but the manga isn't all that great.

Well for the most part, popularity of the series is quite reversed here in the states (Bleach, Naruto, then One Piece in the US. Complete reverse in Japan). And most "fans" consist of online readers/watchers that don't want to touch the Viz version and then there are those that buy the Japanese prints. In any case, it ain't helping the series' release speed or popularity, let alone the whole 4Kids fiasco from years back. If FUNimation can get the online streams back on, it might help gain some new fans.

EDIT: Well, Bleach outsells Naruto in Japan.

Actually it lasted longer then I thought it would. Just as long as it keeps whupping ass in Japan I'm incredibly proud.

Well I bought Bleach 27 about 2 weeks ago, I'm glad to see it at #1 for the 3rd week in a row. Also I am a Naruto fan, however I'm getting tired of it having multiple mangas every damn week, hopefully in a few weeks from now we'll probably have 10 different series in the top 10.

Wow, I think this is the first time a Yen title has ever hit the list.

Good for them, it's nice to know that a high quality manga (I mean that in a literal sense, have you see their pages Shocked ), makes it up at least once in a while.

Now, if only we knew how well the novel did...
