NEWS: Lantis Produces Goulart Knights, Its 1st Original Anime

The story begins after mysterious creatures named "Archons" suddenly appear in the world. Humanity faces the threat of annhilation from these creatures. Only the "Chalice," the source of humanity, can defeat the powerful Archons. So, the humans assemble an Archon-slaying unit from able-bodied fighters who can retrieve the Chalice. The ones chosen to fight the Archons are called Goulart Knghts.


Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a record for the most cliche-ridden anime plot ever!

Hopefully there's more to it than this...

Looks like they'll be giving away free copies of the drama CD at NatsuComi. Wonder if I'll get there in time for one before they run out!

Not gonna lie.. I was scrolling through the news on the front page at a fairly brisk pace and my mind made me think the article said Gabriel Knights and I was like "OMG!" but then I looked more carefully and was like "...oh." :/

I stumbled across a reference to this series, and tried to look it up, but it doesn't seem to have a page in the encyclopedia here. There is an article about it being produced, but no 'pedia entry was returned when I searched around for it.
