No way! I can't believe it! I've been waiting for this forever! I just knew there would be a sequel to Inuyasha!

Holy chihuahua, I didn't see this one coming. Its been far too many years since I've heard Richard Ian Cox's voice, so I really hope Viz Media picks this up.

Although I haven't seen the final chapter, I am sure this will be exceptional. This is truly awesome news I never thought I'd ever hear.

First Rinne and now more Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi continues to make exceptional, top notch anime.

Wow...did not see this one coming. If only I was still into Inuyasha. After I realized it was repeating the same thing over and over again and the relationships took forever to go anywhere I lost interest. Still, if this were to be simulcast I might consider watching it. Maybe it'd re-spark my interest.

Hmm, this might actually make slogging through the rest of the series worth it. I eventually gave up, because the show was going nowhere, and had heard that it didn't really have an ending. However, now that they actually aregoing to end the anime, it might be time to give it another chance.

Wow, it's actually going to happen.

Good to hear that the anime will properly conclude the story this time around.

Embarassingly, I was once a huge fan of this show. It wasted most of its potential, sadly, by dragging on way too long.

Aw hell, I'll probably end up watching this sooner or later, anyway.

Not only would Viz need to pick it up, they would also need to get Ocean Group to dub it. If you really wanna hear Richard Ian Cox's voice, you can listen to Gundam 00 Season 2 on Syfy Monday nights at 11! He's doing great as Allelujah!

I just died a little inside, Inuyasha was the first grown up anime I watched besides Gundam. Having more story to it, then that crap ending is good

Apparently you've been listening to the dub with your ears covered. He's a horrible Allelujah. As Hallelujah, though, he's all right.

Of all the stuff out there genuinely worth reviving, we get this... This which ran for 167 bloody episodes, at least 2/3rds of which were filler, without reaching a conclusion. Not to mention 4 movies. Where's my second season of Berserk though? No, that's not happening.

Yeah, the looooong stretches of filler between the good parts, plus the complete let-down of season 5 after the Hyakureizan arc, did this series in.

Still, if they can do a filler-free finale, then I'm all for it. I'm going to just assume Viza has their eye on it and not download any fansubs. Not that I can even bear the dub for this if it get shown on TV (one of my least favorite dubs I've ever heard, for reasons that would take too long to get into), but there's always Netflix for any DVDs.

Nope, not gonna happen ever. For starters, you'd have to magically go in and graft plot points into the first season, particularly the Skull Knight and Puck.

And then there's the daunting fact that you'd need multiple seasons to cover the material that's been produced then, plus the series is nowhere near finished in spite of being 20 years old, and Miura updates at an abominably slow pace, so there's a guarantee of catching up.

And even if you only opted to do the arc that immediately follows the one covered in the first series (and yes, I'd love that too, and have dreams of who my ideal voice actor would be for my beloved Serpico), you'd just wind up at yet another cliffhanger, with a third season looming in some distant future.

And to top it off, it would be an after-midnight series, whereas Inuyasha would almost certainly be prime time. Financially, doing an obscenely popular series that would get a wider audience is a much better decision.

Except the fact that Inuyasha is a completed work while Berserk is still ongoing Rolling Eyes

Except Inuyasha is actually finished, hence why they can do a second filler-free adaptation. Berserk, pssh, we'll be lucky if that concludes in our lifetime. Wink
