This looks cool (though the character montage made it look creepily like K-ON Joins The Military!.) The trailer doesn't have a lot more than people walking around, but the plotline promises a lot of interesting stuff.

I like A-1 Pictures; there's a lot of variety in the shows they do, and they always seem to make them look pretty regardless of what they are. It really shows off how good their animators are to see that they can make both Kannagi and Birdy the Mighty look awesome.

Fixed. Razz

But seriously, it does look like they're trying to fuse a little cuteness with a serious story.

I THOUGHT that she dressed like she was in the military or something! And the eye-style does look kinda like K-ON!, but this seems rather interesting.

If the music in the series is going to be anything like that in the trailer, this show will be watchable to say the least. However well the story turns out, it looks like the production values will do it full justice.

Given the track record of the people involved, I think we have a great show on our hands. Of course, just because they created greatness before doesn't mean they will again, but it certainly helps in that conclusion. As for the premise though, I don't know, actually. Doesn't seem bad, but doesn't exactly grab me. But if it's well executed paint drying could probably grab my attention.

They're definitely good, although it's all Sony/Aniplex money. The shows get handed straight to them, and a powerhouse like Aniplex has the cash to make sure everything's done right.

With the independent companies, I think it's much more of a struggle to land good properties (they're often forced to take what they can get) and maintain a consistently high level of quality.
