That's very unfortunate that only 58 episodes survived time...

Wow, didn't know this sort of thing existed. This reminds me of that old 'Flash Gordon' serial.

I'd be interested to just see a clip.

Wow, this looks....incredibly weird. I don't think a live-action Astro Boy could work NOW, let alone 50 years ago. I definatly would like to see this show in action, though.

I'm surprised as many as 58 episodes survived from that long ago.

Perhaps a few more will surface over time, it has happened with older Dr Who, perhaps with Astro.

Somehow, memories of Gerry Anderson spring to mind when I see this image. I suspect these episodes would be fascinating for fans of special effects from that era, along with Tezuka collectors.

Just wait, everything is bound to be released sooner or later-I just wish it were easier to obtain the Japan only stuff, like this DVD box of the live action Mighty Atom...Back in the day, I was very active in tape trading with friends, hence my large collection, which I really should try to convert to DVD before they deteriorate. Cool
