Yeah; from what I've heard, the uncensored version of Kanokon verges on soft-core hentai. I guess the reason the second seaon is taking so long is because they're figuring out how to top S1.

Big-Hed, Kanokon does border on soft core but so can other ecchi titles. Take a look at Kodomo no Jikan. This is almost soft core lolicon. However, ecchi titles like to push the boundary to the point where it's just shy of porn.

I'd say it's the repetitive eroge/galge adaptations that have cookie-cutter girls and spineless male harems that go absolutely nowhere in plot are shows that are "killing" the industry. At least these other fanservice shows have room to be creative or make use of animations, those ones can't even afford to have the characters move all that often.

I really hope these series along with kodomo no jikan gets licensed to the US really soon cause i'm a mega junkie for over the top fanservice. Already preordered the DVDs for Ikkitousen Great Guardians and i hope to do the same with Queens Blade, if they have a dub version that is. |

As if the uncensored TV version wasn't enough, it's going to get more extreme. While I like Queen's Blade, how much more can they push before it becomes hentai?

Boobies are all the motivation I actually need to buy the dvd. And no, I don't think stuff like this are ruining the anime industry. Just look at Clannad, about 50 episodes of pure moe and it's still ranking as one of the top 20 shows.

People still watch this garbage? I just don't see the appeal. Boobs or not... They're not real. I respect the opinions of the people that follow this franchise, don't get me wrong. I however prefer anime/manga with good characters and a good story, rather than fanservice saturation. But I guess some people have other tastes...

It's gotten quite interesting during season two. I, personally, enjoy the plot and what's happening in the anime other than watching boobies everywhere. I'm mostly interested in the Queen, the Swamp Witch and what the protagonist's father is planning to do(since he seems to hate the queen's tournament) . They seem interesting, and believe it or not, this anime's plot is more interesting than many others out there (points at 11 eyes, asura cryin'). But well, if you think Queen's Blade is all about boobs, then you, my friend, are deeply mistaken.
