With 3000 DVDs to be sold, it may sell out fast but more chances for people to have it. If they included international fans, they should have made like 5000.

Great news.
Here's hoping it gets released online or something, since that's the only chance us western fans have of catching a glimpse.

The more I dig into this the more I'm amazed on the attention and hype Jump is giving to the film.

While previous OP film all have relatively big celebrities doing guest voice-overs and theme songs and the current TV anime theme song "Share the World" by TVXQ is perhaps the biggest musical name to ever done an Anime theme song other than films by Studio Ghibli.

Strong World goes way above and beyond.

I just saw on the offical website that the theme song will be done by Mr. Children. For those who don't know, wiki's got a comprehensive page on them.

Basically, JUMP somehow get Mr. Children, arguablly the greatest rock/pop band in Japanese history [might even be for entire East Asia] to do their first anime theme song.

This is like getting Beatles, Metallica, U2, Areosmith, to do a song for a Disney film, simply unheard of.

But it also shows that JUMP to putting everything they have into this film and OP is getting an unheard level of royal treatment right now.

This is something entirely different then those two prototype chapters. This is something Oda drew much more recently for the 10th film.

I wonder if this means from now until December there will be some sort of huge reveal for the old generation of Pirates and Marines (especially on Rodgerl). I just find it hard to believe a Mangaka can write something non-cannon of their own series.

Also, this whole movie is basically unprecedented. Usually the role of the Mangaka in these movies ends at character designs if one is lucky. This is all of Oda's plot! There is a strong chance that this movie can be as good as the tv series or comics (which doesn't sound like much, but if you've seen a lot of these things then you'd know it's a very good thing).

The Dvd I can live without, but I must have that comic!! No matter what!
