NEWS: 2001 Nights' Hoshino Creates Manga for British Museum

Last month I turned up to the Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons to see their medical robots exhibit. As advertised, some relevant Tezuka manga was on display, though the installation itself was puny and underwhelming.
A more substantial attraction is seemingly offered here. Although I'm not a manga fan, this would perhaps give me the incentive to actually visit the British Museum instead of merely walking past it when at a loose end.

I was popping down to London to see First Squad anyway, so seems as good a time as any to drop in and have a look.

It's just down the road so I might check it out.

Had to go look up the info on First Squad showing in London, then I saw the price and gave up...

During that search also found out the ICA was showing The Sky Crawlers, but it clashes with Mai Mai Miracle at the Barbican...

Somewhat disappointing. The articles says:

Come and see an exclusive new manga by Hoshino Yukinobu at the British Museum. [...] In this display, you can see original artwork by Hoshino, including drawings showing the start of Professor Munakata’s new adventure set at the British Museum.
But what they actually mean is "come see three relatively unrelated promotional images for a story set in the British museum that has yet to be drawn".
The talk on the life of Osamu Tezuka at the ICA was much more interesting.
