Old news. Digimon AROUND was leaked back in like November...

But I'm glad that we're getting another season of it! That means that this is the second time that Digimon was resurrected. Very Happy

Data Squad has a pretty good release. The second set of thirteen episodes is released next month IIRC.

Well, there is a very limited amount on DVD. The first thirteen episodes of the first season were released on DVD by FOX way back in the day. The movie released by FOX is easy to find still, and Digimon Savers/Data Squad had the first 13 episodes released last year and it can still be found.

And if you really have the money to blow, in Japan the first four seasons have all been collected on box sets. They'll run you about $500 though. Adventure and Zero Two are out of print now I think, so they may be even more.

As long as its better then Saviors/Data Squad, I'll be happy. Funny that I've been rewatching the series. Watching Season 1 right now and plan to watch CR's 02 when done.

I'm not squeeing until I find out more about the story. What else could they possibly do? Tamers is still my favorite though.

New Digimon = Happy Gyt. As long as they don't pull anything as crazy as some of the other plots I've seen over the years in the fandom (like Digimon turning into humans)...though, maybe worked right, that wouldn't be SO bad.

While I dislike bootlegs and never would tell someone to buy them, this is one case that I would recommend it because there are no regular DVD sets- you can find them on amazon and ebay, but they're really expensive. I did buy the first season, though.

Hurray for new Digimon! I've always loved this franchise, although after Adventures the series went a bit down hill. Seeing this news makes me want to go back and watch the whole thing over again, and pull out those older Digimon PS1 games that I use to play all the time. I can't wait to see what it's like.

Funny how I was just thinking earlier today how I'd like to see Tamers again.

グレイモン is officially romanised as Greymon (i.e. Agumon's adult form). Not immediately familiar with the others, but I've not had much to do with Digimon since Tamers but since checking a couple in google isn't turning up much I assume they are new.

For バリスタモン.. Ballistamon is the most obvious thing that comes to mind.

モニタモン.. possible Monitormon?

ドルルモン.. similarity to Garurumon makes me wonder if this is another Japanese onomatopoeia.

シャウトモン.. Shoutmon? It says there are four of them so I wonder if it is something that comes in multiples like the Pawnmon in Savers.

Ah, I remember the "Digimon Days". It was everywhere! I really enjoyed Digimon Adventure and Digimon Zero Two but haven't seen them in ages. Didn't care much for Tamers, and didn't see Frontier. Savers didn't really grab my attention. I wonder how this new Digimon will turn out?
