Yay. DTB's second special on sight. Good to see DTB doing quite well over there. Where's the license, Funimation!

I was just thinking the same thing! I really loved the dub of the first series, so I definitely want Funimation to get DTB2. |

I would have liked to see higher sales for So-Ra-No-Wo-To. It sold a bit over 3000 for BD in the first week. Not so bad, but definitely not a hit. The show itself wasn't amazing, but it was still entertaining, had nice art and a nice soundtrack, and I'd like high sales for Anime no Chikara titles, since I'd like to see more anime original titles.
On the other hand Dance in the Vampire Bund did quite poorly. 1300 for BD, DVD so low there are no numbers - it didn't even make this list. Sales like that make a continuation a lot less likely. I can't say I think it deserved much better - I found it mediocre in almost every way, from start to finish. Wasn't really bothered by the few scenes that caused such a controversy, just a poor effort by SHAFT. Oh, and like the My-Hime box a few months ago, the My-Otome box includes the English sub/dub. |
