It's been a while since I've read those chapters (Rightstuf hasn't shipped my copy yet), but I'm fairly certain that it's Ichijo's Grandfather, not father. I don't think his parents have been shown, at least not up through the first two arcs.

As much as I like the series, I'm losing patience with it. Pretty art, not enough plot.
 Hino should stop torturing Zero and start the plot development!

Don't worry, I think another plot's a'brewing. Don't know if you're keeping up in the scans, but yeah I agree, there's been a little too much navel-gazing here lately. spoiler[Now that Kaname's killed the Council, the evil purebloods are coming out of the woodwork!]
