Hmm… it would be nice to have an LQ option, for those of us with slower computers. But then, none of these titles sounds like anything I'm interested in, so no skin off my back either way.

That's great. I love Media Blasters sometimes. Smile ...Too bad it's 3 shows that I'm not really very interested in.

Or am I? Sometimes I feel the need for a "so bad, it's good" show. And Ikki Tousen does seem like it might fulfill that need judging from the first episode from season 1, which I watched a while back.

Wow, it even works from over here in the Netherlands. I was expecting a message saying that it's not available outside N-America. Good to see an anime company who understands where their customers live.

Suggested improvements: Japanese soundtrack + subtitles, and allow jumping to different points in the video so viewers can skip or rewatch parts.

Cool. I appreciate having a legit way to sample stuff. Mind you, QB and Ikkitousen DD are "no-brainer" purchases for me (in more ways than one, the hatahs would say. Wink )

Aren't the characteres under the age of 18 though? In addition, isn't the show really just about fanservice and all too typical high school students?

Really, the only show from Media Blasters that actually doesn't contain under age fanservice and is actually intelligent is Genshiken. Though even though I have the series, it's a shame Media Blasters licensed this series. Almost made me not want to buy just because of the company's history.

Not much in the way of fan service in a bunch of their other titles too...

Berserk, Moribito, The Twelve Kingdoms, Magical Witch Punie-chan and a bunch more, I'm sure.

Great. So we finally see someone doing decent quality video streams that are actually available outside the US and the only stuff streaming is soul crushingly awful. Hooray!

Finally a company in America trying to please more than just the sub fans and providing a legit way to sample their products. If only all the other companies did this, for everything they are going to release, just like media Blasters plans to do. People with high speed internet access and already know about the websites of anime licensing companies will probably get more purchases, if they all did this. Now, all that is left is for the other companies to try the same thing and for anime to be advertised more. Without advertising, not even this plan will help the companies much, though, except for people who know about sites like this telling people this information.

Honestly I don't find the show arousing AT ALL; I appreciated it for it's ridiculously over the top humor. Sure there's a lot of the gay harem staples, like a guy conveniently falling into a chick's cleavage etc., but there's also some hilarious supernatural situations and some of the most ridiculous takes on stock harem characters I've ever seen. Not really typical IMO.

Concerning Media Blasters's "history," all I can say is that their hentai label, Kitty Media, licenses a pretty wide range of H titles and only a minority of them feature underage characters. As far as their regular stuff, another user already beat me to it, but clearly Rurouni Kenshin, 12 Kingdoms, Berserk, Rayearth and much of their other stuff is pretty far from the stereotype you described.

If you're some kind of strange guy who hates anything remotely sexual then obviously you will want to avoid Kanokon, but I can at least guarantee that it won't instantly turn you into a pedophile. However, some of the posters around here seem a little fanatical when it comes to their [No!] / anti lolicon agenda, and boycotting an entire company because a few of their titles have high school students in sexual situations is a good example. So YMMV.

[Mod Edit: That kind of language will not be tolerated. As per the rules, you are welcome to disagree with others but you are to do so respectfully or not at all. Using inflammatory words that are primarily used for cultural hate speak is definitely not going to be tolerated. - Keonyn]

Even though I am in my burn out period, I will have to give QB and Kanokon a watch. Both look like something I would watch ironically.
