Makes me wonder if this will be another anthology.

I haven't watched Supernatural yet, I'm not a big fan of tv in general so.

Well this is going to be interesting at least?

You're telling me. I've got a friend who's absolutely OBSESSED with this show and anime. Telling her this news is going to be the equivalent of a me firing a flamethrower at a tank of gasoline. Anime hyper

You don't have to be a fangirl to dig Supernatural, I saw most of Season 1 and thought it was fairly good. Since I've heard the series seems to be headed for an actual conclusion, I may start picking up the DVDs soon.

Neither am I, but this is the one show I do watch. I was very happy to see the news it wasn't canceled. I also own the DVDs.

As for the anime, going to have to wait and see on this on. If Jared and Jensen aren't the VAs, I'll pass on it instantly.

Here's to hoping the project works out well. I wouldn't be surprised to see one of the episodes next season be an animated one. I can easily see the producers turning it into a "dream" episode.

I highly recommend this series if one's into... supernatural stories. It's very well done, and I rank it right beside Sci-Fi's Battlestar Galactica in story writing and character development.

Hey, Japan... how about animating the Gilmore Girls next. Wink

Interesting, I'd really would want to check this out. I only watched the first two seasons, so I am somewhat familiar to the series.

Warner Brothers ... has also acquired the film rights for Akira, Death Note, and Ninja Scroll, and has reportedly been in talks for the rights to the Bleach manga.

Supernatural aside, isn't WB getting more into anime in general the bigger news? What's next, "Funimation, a Time-Warner company?"

I like Supernatural. I do hope it's not an anthology, it should be like a miniseries or something, with episodes. And have a more anime like feel to it.

That would be just great. Either that or EA.

This certainly seems random. I had no idea Supernatural had such popularity in Japan. Maybe the anime can have a better 5th season.

I love this show, but it really should've stopped after season 5. In any case, there's a chance this could be good if done right.
