"single daughter" - what in the world? Very awkward phrasing there - that is not something you use to describe a child with a single parent. Unless, of course, you mean to say she's single i.e. not in a relationship? Of course not. Surely...

or perhaps they mean only child? But yeah Single daughter how strange.
