This would be nice to see. I wonder if it'll get an english language release? I would buy it, I think. It's a classic story and with CLAMP's distinctive art style it it could be pretty good.

I wish it would be an original work rather than a copy. But hey why not as they say. Still, CLAMP why do this, the talent is there, right?

I still love Peter Pan's story, and I always liked CLAMP's artstyle, so I'd definiteley read it if there was an english release.

Also, whatever happened to the mangaettes that they were doing for Darkhorse. Geez.

I like em and all but I think they just say yes to everything.

So now, the Lost Boys would be androgynous and have "feelings" for each other. Tinker Bell would be wearing different fluffy dresses each chapter, and Wendy would have feelings for her, while Captain Hook will develop feelings for Wendy and turns out is really Peter Pan's father. Then the croc would transform into the real baddy of the series.

Ooo, this would be very interesting. ^^ I'd love to pick this up at some point, whether it gets an English licensing or not.

Given that Dark Horse is publishing POP's Wonderland which is similarly illustrated and that they also publish some Kodansha titles like CCS and Chobits, there is a some hope for seeing an English edition.

They're not adapting it, they're Illustrating it.. as in drawing pictures for the story that's already there.

I've known about this for almost a week now. Found out through live journal with a small picture.

Found here: http://community.livejournal.com/clamp_now/632626.html if you want to see.

Less than four days, actually. As noted in that LiveJournal entry, CLAMP only just announced it on Wednesday (Tuesday night in North America).

So who's going to lose an eye? You know it's never a proper CLAMP work (even if it's based on a pre-existing piece) until someone or several someone lose an eye. =D

Thus the "almost a week" part.. 7 days in a week half that is 3.5.. I found out Tuesday night.. So I've know for about 4 which is over half so "almost a week" is about right for me. What does it matter though? Still, this was "old" news to me, just figured I would share the link where you can find the picture.

YES PLEASE. I've never been too fond of CLAMP's plotlines (with a few exceptions) but I adore their art, and Peter Pan is one of my favorite stories. I think I'm going to try and pick this up even if it doesn't get an English release.

But, the points you posted above were already mentioned in the article. Smile

• The article already stated that CLAMP announced it on Wednesday in Japan.
• The article already posted the picture.

There is a reason why the same date and same picture were already in the article. The LiveJournal entry mentioned above is a mirror of CLAMP News, which the article already listed. See the bottom of the article.

This is an Interest, not News, article, in any case. The article was posted on Friday night (Saturday in Japan), so it wasn't even four days yet.
