As Justin Sevakis pointed out with the last replication error, this isn't actually Funimation's fault but that of the company doing the DVD replications for them. That said, perhaps it's time to really sit down with that replication company and figure out what problem(s) they are having or look for someone more reliable (although that isn't as easy as it sounds).

That is the title of a great song by The Smiths.

Funimation needs to settle this once and for all with there replication company..its becoming a common problem for them this year.I would hate to see this type of error happen with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Part 3 on Blu-ray.

Between Bandai, NIS, and Funimation this seems to be happening a lot lately. Out of curiosity, does anyone out there know if this is happening with other non-anime DVD releases in the states? I was wondering how common of a problem this has been for DVDs overall.

It's like we're in some bizarro world where disc burning technology has actually gotten worse and worse over time rather than improving or at least being stagnant.

Not to mention at all the problems Bandai around the time the Flag singles were coming out. Not the overriding factor, but it played a part in where Bandai is today.

This is pretty bad. Hopefully this will finally make Funi sit down with the company that does their DVD replications before they send out the prints for more of their popular shows, like FMA and Black Butler...or the Tsubasa OVAs (which I have pre-ordered and really would hate to see messed up).

(On a side note, this reminds me of the Kaze no Stigma contest that was ran on here awhile back; was the winners ever announced for that thing or are we still in the dark about that?)

The boxes for Funi all say "discs made in mexico" with an annoying sticker. Time to move to another disc replication company...

They need to sort this out with the replication company asap or they are going to lose alot of initial sales and pre-orders with people waiting first to see if sets contain any errors before purchasing.
Just getting beyond a joke now.

I have to admit, I'm one of those people now. At first it was just for Bandai, but now I do it for Funi and NIS. Sentai 23 is the only one who hasn't caused me any problems.
