IMO, one of the best fetish based stories in anime.

Wonderful central bond, intelligent(and surprising) use of economy to not only serve as a secondary plot, but to spoiler[fuel the crises later on.]

And a good, if not great, dub! I do hope they'll make a final anime adaption(did it do well sales wise? I know it did here)...

It'd be doing anime a good thing. Great selection, ANN!

It wasn't too terribly evident that this was the sequel. I just happened to check it out because I thought there would be a blurb written about it, but then realized it said Spice and Wolf II. I watched the whole first season but I guess I wasn't paying attention and didn't hear about a 2nd season (or forgot). I will be watching the next 12 episodes very soon. Thank you.

Anybody know when we'll be seeing a DVD release in America?

Funi has acquired the license, but I don't believe they've announced a release date yet. I'm guessing sometime in 2011, perhaps in the summertime.

In the back of the S&W vol.3 book, there's an ad for the Funi S&W II DVD that says "Coming spring 2011."

I was under the impression March 2011 would see a release by FUNimation. Don't hold me to this, though, because I can't recall where I saw it.

On topic: I'm not watching this without the dub only because I love Brina's work as Holo. However, if March isn't the release date, I may have to tempt myself just because the series is so damn good!

Time will tell.

The tentative March solicitations have been out for a while, and this wasn't on there. The only indication we have is "Early Spring", so it could be in the April solicitations, and those will probably be out next month.

This is the only series I have come across where I thought the english dub was done better than the japanese voice cast. Not only that but it is a rather original anime that does some rather good storytelling.
I hope the english dub for part II comes out soon.
