There are still magazines with GROWING circulation numbers in this environment? I am shocked and extremely impressed.

Wow, Ciao has over 700,000? Shocked I guess Ribon Magzine is less popular out of the two other shoujo magazine rivals (Nakayoshi and Ciao).

That I'm curious of too, otherwise!
Very glad to see numbers finally rise.

I never knew that ASUKA had such a small circulation. Glad to hear that its readership is growing.

Wow, I'm pretty surprised to see there are more seinen (and josei magazines for that matter) than their shounen/shoujo counterparts.

I've been getting the feeling recently that Square-Enix (aka Gangan Comics) doesn't play by the same set of rules as the other companies. They publish two pretty major magazines: Monthly Shounen Gangan and G-Fantasy, and neither of those show up here.

They were also strangley silent about the Tokyo Anime Fair, and I was surprised to find out they weren't in that group of 10 manga publishers.

I've also read interviews with them about their business strategy for adapting their comics into anime, and they seemed to take a rather different approach to things--one that seemed to assure the success of every anime they are behind.

So yeah... I'd be interested to read a bit more on Gangan, and why they seem to be "not included" in posts like this.

Bessatsu Friend's circulation has gotten low over the years....I understand because it lost Peach Girl and Life. It still has Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge, but it can't go on forever. They better hope for a popular series to come otherwise they're in trouble xD
I still love it though Very Happy
