So it finally becomes an anime. Great!
If your wondering about the story, it goes something like this: the main character Satou You, lives in a highschool dormitory that serves breakfast only so the dorm students have to buy their own lunch and dinner which is unlucky for the main character as he's poor. Luckily, there's a supermarket that sells half-price lunch boxes (Bento, hence the tittle). The catch? The moment the lunches become half-price, the supermarket turns into a survival of the strongest battle royale arena where the customers fight each other to get the lunches first! After getting his ass kick too many times, Satou has enough and joins the Half-Pricer's club who's purpose is to train it's members to fight other customers and win their lunches. oh man, oh man, this is awesome, i've always wanted to read this series. Honestly never thought it would be popular enough to get an anime tho. THIS IS AWESOME!

Same here. Maybe if they gender-flipped Ben it would work for Japan... But this sounds like... it could be good? Maybe? I'll probably try an episode or two at least. |

Err, Ben 10 has been airing in Japan for a while now. Ben-To sounds promising as an action comedy, it's something to look forward to. Emerje |

Sounds like it can work very well for an anime series. Fighting scenes would be hilarious. Now I miss Fighting Foodons.

Ben-To sounds promising, however fanservice and generic characters could easily make the series not as good as it could be.
Fighting for cheap food? Could be interesting if this idea is expanded upon. But I can't imagine any of the fight's being too outlandish, otherwise it could easily become another manga with character's with super powers etc. However, this could easily be an exceptional comedy if done right and isn't full of fanservice. |

Almost sounds like "Black Friday Sales: the anime".
I'll check it out but ya, if its just another fanservice filled anime, that might ruin it for me. |
