While this is all nice and good, know what would be really super? A true, full-on anime adaptation of JoJo. All of it.

Well, first off, we'll never get an anime adaptation of all of JoJo. That's just asking too much. Anyway, apparently Araki hated the movie adaptation of Phantom Blood so much that he is the responsible for it not ever getting a DVD release. And supposedly Araki doesn't want anyone else ever animating JoJo again after that. Though, with it being the 25th Anniversary of JoJo, maybe a studio can convince him to allow a TV adaptation. Maybe giving him a larger role in the production, ala Eichiro Oda's involvement in One Piece: Strong World, Kubo Tite's involvement in Bleach: Hell Chapter, and Masami Kurumada's involvement in the upcoming Saint Seiya CG movie, can help make him agree to it too. JoJo is the longest-running manga to have never gotten a TV anime adaptation after Golgo got one in 2008. I say someone should make a Battle Tendency (a.k.a. part 2) TV series! |
