1. average rating for this anime is "Excellent"...
2. Theron gave this title A(-) for the story... 3. Mark gave C+... 4. Theron gave B for art... 5. Mark gave D for art... so Mark's opinion is far from most of people, and i am not sure how well his dramatically lower marks established since i am yet to see the anime... who watched WTC?.. |

You also have to think Mark's review was done 4 years after Theron's.
Anime quality and expectations has certainly risen over the years. |

I cant see that the level of expectation would rise that high, that fast.
One thing to note is the fact that Theron's reviews cover all 26 episodes of the first season, up to a sort of conclusion at the end of the Atonment arc (arc 6), while this review is only for the first 13 episodes (up to the end of the curse killing arc (arc 3). Even so, it seems a foolish thing to do to criticize a show for not coming to a conclusion when you have only watched half (or technically, a quarter) of it. As for the art score, i think that giving it that low a rating is ridiculous. No, it not KyoAni quality complexity, but the more simple art style actually helps to focus on the cute > horrific nature of the show. Its worth at least a C. Finally, a better score for dub over sub, are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!? Your taking a mystery and adding in an additional constraint of lip co-ordination, reducing how effectively the clues are conveyed. Perhaps thats the way it may seem with only 13 episodes to work with, but having seen all 50 episodes (of both seasons) i can safely say that this review was bollocks and hardly a good representation of the show in question. EDIT: Still, its not like it matters much since we probably wont get the whole thing anyway. I had a chat with the Siren Visual guys at Supanova concerning it, and they said that since Kai lacks a dub its prospect of license isn't all that high. |

Found a great Vash Limited Edition of 50 Prop Gun on ebay. One of the ones from the TV show. ebay US Def not bootleg. Hard to find these |
