Yeah, but if not enough of those fans are buying enough DVDs to justify FUNi picking up the rest of the it then what can be done?

~Obvious Rumor Is Obvious~

And no surprise on Kodocha... It's in the same boat as Case Closed... Or maybe Case Closed fell off the boat some time ago...

What about D Gray man? Are there no plans for the second half? I wish they would just say something one way or another.

I think they said something last year (on an ANNcast?) about there not being anymore due to issues/disagreements with the japanese holders or something like that. Not 100% sure.

Oh... why, oh why, don't Funimation go out on a limb and finish up Kodocha... or something a little more on the genuine side... I mean, c'mon Fairy Tail? Really???

Still, One Piece consistency should speak for something... even though it'll be still some ways for Strong World to be on Right Stuf's catalog.
Oh, and I can't wait for Spice and Wolf 2.

I was worried that they were going to drop One Piece. I hope it works out. Out of curiosity, what's the longest anime release done in the states? I mean episode wise. I would love to own all the episodes of One Piece but it's already on 497 in Japan. I wonder how long people will support it in the states? I've read on some blog sites that it isn't the huge success that Funi was hoping for? (Then again, blogs aren't always the most reliable source of information.)

I'm a Kodocha fan, but was surprised that it became a topic of conversation at the panel. It's been so long since they dropped it. Then again, they did re-start Shin-chan. (Hooray!)

I believe that honor goes to Pokemon, which has, last I read, more episodes than The Simpsons. And almost all of them have been localized, barring a small handful of barely risque episodes.

Nice to hear that Fairy Tail will be out before year's end. Was planning on getting that as a Christmas gift for a couple friends (and myself, of course).

I don't really understand why FUNi doesn't stream Kodocha to build a bigger audience for it.

I watched a few episodes of Darker than Black: Nonsensical Subtitle when it first came out, and it seemed interesting. Maybe I'll buy it.
