I think I've almost gotten to the point where I don't care anymore. I'm tired of wondering if he'll ever finish the darn thing. I know he has a family and enough money to not need to work anymore - good for him. Truly. But as a fan of the series, I'm just about done. (But I'll still buy the blasted thing when Viz releases it... curses!)

Series that I Hope Will End Before I Die:
Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, Claymore, Kurosagi Delivery Service and Saiyuki (although given the manga-ka's poor health, I understand if she needs to drop it and take care of herself)

At this point, the ant arc feels like a very different manga than the stuff that came before it, and it's not a manga I'm very interested in reading. Then again, though, I've come this far, so I'll probably see it through till the end anyway -- Hunter x Hunter and I go back so far that I have developed something approaching unconditional love for it.

Well, I don't think you have to worry about Blade of the Immortal, anyway; unless you die within the next five years, I'd say you'll be around to see it end.

Claymore already ended in Japan. Don't mistake manga which was not translated into English yet with manga that has not ended (or is stuck in limbo).

I myself will wait as much time as it takes for HxH to come back. ANN forgot to mention that Togashi was working as a collaborator on the Level E anime last year. Which means he was not slacking off (for a change) but actually promoting his other manga series.

Claymore is still being serialized in Jump SQ. The latest chapter was 115, and the story still seems to have quite a ways to go.

Oops! Sorry, you're right about that. The truth is I though it was finished because most of this manga has been out of stock in Japan for years. I just assumed it was over.
