I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't make it next week. Seems Toriko is quickly losing the steam it had after that crossover episode.

Maybe Toei will consider continuing Dragon Ball Kai if Toriko's ratings continue to drop?

Though it's the merchandise and home video sales that really matter, but people aren't going to buy those things if they don't watch or like a show.

I'm not wishing for Toriko to get canceled or anything but why not bring something back that had better ratings and sold better? Why not have both. Very Happy

Even if Dragon Ball isn't a great seller in Japan anymore, last I checked it was still the #1 best-selling anime franchise worldwide.

Does Toei have very high hopes for Toriko?

Suite Precure ratings are increasing because the expected mid-July spoiler[arrival of Ellen/Cure Beat, which everyone agrees is the former villainess Seiren.] This is not unexpected, since the big display from BANDAI at the recent Tokyo Toy Show confirms this.

spoiler[I dunno, it just seems weird to have an animal as a Precure.. I liked Woan as Cure Beat.. but it seems the Melody of Happiness/Sorrow will be completed in 2 weeks so a big change is about to occure][/spoiler]

If remember from Yes! Pretty Cure 5 Go! Go! correctly, spoiler[Wasn't Milky Rose/Kurumi essentially the Precure/human form of the mascot Milk, given this power by tending and growing the seed of the Blue Rose? In short, it's not the first time we've had a Precure that wasn't originally human.]

Why don't they just air reruns of DBZ? Toriko is plopping it. I'm just surprised they've kept One Piece on the air for so long; if they want to let new things into the mainstream they need to start by removing One Piece from television and put back on some TV classics instead.
