Spice and Wolf 2 delayed again? Are you serious? God dammit.
Oh well that gives me more time to save up for it so I guess it's not completely bad. But FUNi needs to get back on track, delays like this are never a good sign. |

Well, I guess I'm grateful Spice and Wolf II has been delayed. Gives me more time to save up for it.
 Between bills, new bookshelves, and paying for my learner's permit, it's very hard to save up for that darn set...

Dang, not bothered by the delay on the Soul Eater rerelease, but not happy about Spice and Wolf II. Ah well, I've waited this long, another three weeks isn't that much in the grand scheme of things.

It Begins.
When that Funimation brand manager told us that Spice & Wolf II was coming out in August, and then a set date of August 2nd 2011 appeared, I expressed my doubts. Many a forum-goer told me that I was wrong, that the show would come out on 8/2/2011 & all would almost be right with the world. Well, it looks as though my cynical distrust was well placed after all.  
The original reason it was delayed, IIRC, was that Funi was having difficulty procuring the "wealth" of Japanese extras. Maybe they'll use the delay to give us some more extras? As the ANN forums informed me, the Japanese extras are pretty few & unremarkable. Making us wait years for just those is hardly justified. 
Well, I've already paid my preorder for it, so when it finally sees the light of day, I shall be among the first to see it.

Bah! Sucks that Spice and Wolf II has been delayed. I was really looking forward to it. T-T

I think this delay might have to do with a two week blackout Funi is doing to update their software programs, so everything might have been pushed back anit? Or was that factored into the schedule already? Besides most of these dates haven't even come up yet, so I'm not too discouraged.

I don't get why people are complaining about delayed releases of their favorite anime?
People should be doing more things with their lives such as enjoying being alive or doing something decent with it rather than moaning about the likes of Sgt Frog or Spice and Wolf being delayed. Personally, I'm not bothered as I have plenty of anime to watch for the moment including fansubs (and I don't even want to get into an argument about the subject!) At the end of the day, I'm just trying to be the "Voice of Reason" here and I hope that there are people here who agree with me... |
