Oh wow, I love the Underworld movies, and would definitely buy blu-rays for animation extras. Very nice indeed.

What blu ray compilation is this article referring to?

According to Amazon, an Underworld blu ray compilation has already been on the market for two years: http://www.amzn.com/B001VLFE76

That's basically the newest Underworld product in the Amazon catalog. Are they already planning a re-release of the same trilogy so soon? Aren't there still a lot of films that have never gotten blu ray treatment, that are far more deserving of the time and energy than another re-release of the same films every 3 years?

I just don't see the point. Shouldn't they focus on making the new film(s) first, and then maybe start thinking about the new blu ray compliation?

Maybe they're planning on including them in the inevitable four-movie bluray box set? That would mean we won't see them for awhile anyway...

My guess is either a special edition re-release of the trilogy leading up to the new movie in January, or possibly a box-set including the newest movie that would come out late next year.

oh wait! seems regions work different with this format... still I wonder why does the box says region 4 O.o
