Woah! Is that Astarotte all grown up? or was that her Mom from when she first met Naoya?

Pretty certain it's her mom, Mercelida. Awesome, it's too rare to have anime with straight shotacon relationships.

Looks like the OVA will be 2 stories that are prequels to the show. One looks like it's when Mercelida went to the Realm of humans & met Naoya. The other looks to tell an early story of Zelda becoming Astarotte's bodyguard.
