Excellent news for me. I've been enjoying this whole Edolas arc immensely. So at some point this fall, Fairy Tail will become the first anime title that I will have seen 100+ episodes of.

Good. At least there's one shounen I can count on. Last episode (90) was very touching. I even shed a couple of tears.

Tenrojima arc huh? Sounds like a filler name to me, but that;s understandable. The anime is literally one arc behind the manga right now(not to mention that arc isn;t done yet) so I imagine they should have a 20 something episode filler arc before they jump into that one.

Tenrojima is the current manga arc, Tenrojima (Heavenly Wolf Island) is the Island that there on. |

Oh I;ve just seen it reffered to as the S-Class exam arc but...wow. I;m surprised they;d take such a risk given that arc isn;t even done yet, but I guess they'll just slow down the pacing...not that it makes me feel better |

Good to know, but it will be interesting to see how they handle this 3rd year considering how close they are to the manga now.
Fairy Tail has been so good as there hasn't been a large amount of filler. I think the Daphne arc was the longest so far and that wasn't too out of place with the other arcs. I just hope this 3rd year doesn't kill the series with 20+ ep filler, as it will lose the charm and fall in the same filler filled bin as Naruto and Bleach. Either way, surely this must be the last year? Perhaps they will do a Gintama/Reborn and give the show a break for a year in order for more manga material to build up? Either way, I shall be enjoying what Fairy Tail eps we have on offer before I start worrying to much about the future of the show. |

Im sure as long as the filler is something that fits into the style of the show and isnt contradictory like some of the stuff bleach and naruto have done.

With the series already set to surpass 100 episodes, I'm amazed that they hadn't announced a movie yet.

I hope they really do x_x, but ya know Hitman Reborn went over 200 episodes with no movie.
I hope they enter a massive Filler mode soon; If this is the last year for the anime I don't see them giving the series a proper ending unless the anime surpasses the manga- which we all know will not happen - I wanna see Natsu meet Igneel, Wendy meets her dragon and same with Gajeel, Why did Lucy's mom die the day the dragons disappeared, who's the black dragon that attacked Gildarts, all that. and Besides the Daphne Arc was not bad, even though it was only 4 episodes that was really well done for a filler. Un-like Naruto's fillers ( only picking on Naruto since I haven't seen Bleach ) they start to get boring because there is so much talking and explaining and the action is set aside into tiny 2-5 minute parts which IMO doesn't satisfy for a SHONEN ACTION manga :3 Im sure FT's fillers will be good, even if they are just Random funny fillers which I loved haha xD. |

I like shonen anime, but I could not get past first few episodes since the concept is so derivative in both idea and visualization.
While One Piece graphic/drawing is nothing original and comes from 1970s styling, at the time when that manga appeared back in 1997 there was no any trace of use of that style in any big scale project. But when Fairy Tail appeared after One Piece already got to the fame, this move did not look classy. Once I will be over with this tasteless decision by Fairy Tail's mangaka, then maybe I will be able to enjoy the show. |
