Kind of sad that the number of women that applied for the second event was less than half of the first. Oh well, I hope those couples effect each other in positive ways, and make such things either more popular or obsolete....

Yeah, I noticed that, too. Between that and the fact that women represented a rather small fraction of the applicants, I don't think this is a very effective method for meeting ladies.
