And another one comes to a close. So in terms of long-running yuri manga titles (like released 3+ volumes), all we have left is Aoi Hana and.....uhhhhh Yuru Yuri?

Noooo, Sasamekikoto!!
As far as Rebirth I'm like meh. Dall-Young's stories have become too inconsistent for my taste. There's always a few good ideas tied together with the thinnest of plots. I eventually became disappointed with all of his stuff with the exception of UxU (I hope he doesn't ruin it at the end). |

don't know what to think. I love sasameki koto, but continuing could end in a 2nd hand boring story. So 9 (or 10, I don't know) volumes is good.

Hope the ending for Sasamekikoto is exceptible. I haven't had much of chance to read what's out there except reviews on Erica's Okazu blog. Before you knew it the series seemed almost close to a resolution. Though it's now finally coming to an end. Talk about a short series, Wish they would bring the series over. Really enjoyed it.
It's funny that Dall Lim comes up, as I was just watching 'Black God'. Even with all the issues in the manga still like it better than the anime. |

Judging from the events in the latest scanlated chapters, I'd be STUNNED if the ending isn't an happy one (not that I'm expecting it to be exceptionnal though...). I'm a bit disappointed since it will leave only Aoi Hana as the sole long-running yuri manga available for a while. And thank god for the recently announced return of NanaXHitomi... |
