I think she's really cute. To each their own, though I think its hard to capture the hyper exaggerated style of disgaea, its a nice attempt.

I've never played/seen Disgae so I have no idea about the character, but the costume looks nice. The thing she's holding in her hand is a nice touch as well.

I haven't watched Disgaea either but I must say this costume is beautiful. I always appreciate good cosplay even if I don't know what Anime/Game the character, the person is cosplaying as, is from. Great job, girl! <3
I believe that thing is a gun.

If her thumb is indeed hooked on her back as it appears to be then I wouldn't call her fat. To be fair though, you didn't directly claim the cosplayer herself to be what you said, it's just a very obvious implication. Taking what you said as a general statement, I agree.
Though "ugly" is very subjective; there's a fetish for everything. I honestly prefer the real girl in the picture as opposed to the creepily child-like drawn sample shot. Lolis are, from a sexual standpoint, ugly to me. The elf ears cement the ugliness of the drawn char in my book. You can tack token bust onto a loli, but it's still a loli. My guess is its for the lolicon who are still in denial about their affliction, but I'm no shrink. On a different note, does anyone really find that amalgamation of Kirino from Bamboo Blade, Rachel from BlazBlue, & some token elf appealing? I suppose the answer is "yes", obviously, but I just don't want to believe it. 
The actual girl in the picture exhibits none of the (IMO) ugly traits that the drawing does.

Pretty much any character from Disgaea 1 or 3 > Rozalin. Disgaea 2's characters were kinda boring imo (except for Axel). |

If the girl in the picture is cosplaying as the character then she is exhibiting as many of the character's traits as possible for her. I guess Rozalin as a character is a close to being a goth-loli(lolita) but she is not in the lolicon age range. You can say she has a token bust but talk to a psychiatrist and they would likely tell you that developed figures are not what lolicon seekers are after. |

Like a few mentioned here, I never heard of the video game (but then I don't play video games) but the dress, just in itself, is done very well. |

Since when is cosplay something that has to be as close to the original as possible, adhering to certain character types, body types and so on? I thought cosplay was for, you know....FUN?

Her wings would have been more visible if she didn't have that dark green forest behind her, but I suppose one has to make do with what is available.

Didn't get to see any troll posts, but seriously, quit it. It's probably because of all the negativity that this DAILY Cosplay thing only gets updated once a week (or more).
On topic: I like the detail. Notice she even has the pointy ears? Those dress ribbons could be poofier, though. seems like a lot of empty space compared to the reference pic. And I'm always a sucker for props, and that gun is very well done. So well done that I'm curious if it was hand-made or bought (ref wikia pic: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100817030007/disgaea/en/images/7/73/Concept-55.jpg). Either way: Nice. |
