Well from what I've gathered from this short clip the English Dub sounds decent enough..I'm quite curious which Voice actors are in Redline..anyone know?

Sounded like Dave Mallow as the announcer, so I surmise this is an LA-based dub. It's a little too short to say too much on, but it sounded alright.

Yeah they must be really hesitant to reveal who the english cast for Redline is cause they chose one of the worst parts of the film to show off voice acting.

Dub sounds meh. I've been wanting to see this for ages, though.

Same here, on both accounts. But of course, I've never seen the movie in any language, so idk if the japanese is any better. And besides, this wasn't even enough time to give any clear judgment on the dub anyway.

Still gonna buy the f**k outta these blu-rays+see it in theatres when it comes anyway, though.

Dub sounds ok, but that' just a short segment of the Yellowline race at the begining... Psycho Man's voice doesn't have quite the same impact. Really need some character interaction from the middle part to see if the English dub can even stand up to the Japanese one. Redline is one anime title where the dub has a tough job to match the quality of the Sub - if not done nearly perfectly you will loose what makes the characters and their interaction special. You have some of the best voice talent in Japan for Redline.

How the lines are delivered is very important... I'm just looking for better subtitles compared to the Japanese release - an OK English dub would just be a bonus feature to me.

Too bad Syfy isn't showing anime anymore; Manga Entertainment would have LOVED for this to come out last year, I'm sure.

Well, maybe it will have the light of day on G4. Probably not [as] though; they don't mess with movies of anything but popular franchises!

That clip was short on dialogue (strange choice to show off a dub cast), but brought lots of pretty. I wanna car that can turbo drive on water! Very Happy

I hope the dub turns out good, but I've already preordered my two copies of the Bluray so a weak English dub won't stop me! Razz

Agent355, someone correct me if I'm wrong (I don't get have MTV), but I'm guessing the expression means "it goes without saying," in response to Top Gun's post.

Glad they're dubbing it. Though I hope the VA is as over the top as the Japanese one sounds. This seems like the sort of film where you go all out on the character voices. Even cliched ones would work here!
