This is indeed, most excellent news. I'm quite excited, I hope they pull off all 3 movies very well.

Just a little mistake, The 3rd movie will not come out in June. It will be released by the end of the year. (later in the year)

Too bad were not likely to be seeing these in North America till around 2013/2014.

YAY. They're going to speed through some of this stuff though to make that time though. It'll be interesting if they can capture the haunting epic at that pace?

Good, so we can knock out the arc that the anime was based on in the first year? awesome!

Not thrilled about that either, but at least it's gonna be over fast and we'll see stuff that didn't make it into the original series.
Hopefully, The Black Swordsman will follow soon enough...

Well, I don't think it's EXACTLY like the TV Anime because spoiler[Skullhead wasn't in the TV version and it's a preview picture for one of the films in this article.]

Well at least now it makes sense why they used CG.

It was a lot faster and since they get the whole thing done in on year means we get the new content by 2013 hopefully.

Actually I don't care if the movies are short and some things are left being out, as long they show the stuff that didn't make it into the tv series and continue where it left off (as an OVA or TV Series)
