it is pretty lame that this is only getting 8 episodes, i'm assuming there must be a reason for it but none come to mind though |

My guess is they can't think of a story worthy of a full series. Bland concept is bland. There is so many other creative ways they could have gone with this series. |

8 is a bit strange. Not that it's the worst thing in the world but you think they would take the series as far as they could. |

It's not the first eight-episode series; the second Mitsudomoe series was only eight.
Mitsudomoe was a good comedy, though. This is based on an awful OVA. |

Yay! Manami Numakura in a new anime! Congrats to her.
But wow... 8 episodes. It happens, but not too often. With a subject this popular, I wonder why they chose 8 episodes? Or maybe there's just not enough story to make a 12-episode anime? |

I wasn't hating, but it was an OK OVA. I was disappointed they used Kana Hanazawa instead of Saki Fujita for Black Rock Shooter, honestly. And the story in real life didn't go much of anywhere, so... |

8 Episodes is enough as long as they can fully use it to make a good show. All it means is less filler.
I hope that it gets localized. I'd love a DVD release but streaming would be OK too. |

Now, if only that month of programming were to be put to use effectively, we could at least get a few more episodes of Un-Go or something. I'm suspecting something more like a TV broadcast of the BRS OVA, though

I am looking forward to the show, but I'm not too hot on how they changed the design of deadmaster. They made her look less awesome. Also what is the deal with the chick with wheels for feet?

God i wish this series was using the games premise rather than the OVA's because despite the BADASS fights, there wasnt much else to the OVA.
