That's great, but I wish they produce their DVD and Blurays with english subtitle so that we can happily buy their products. ^^

This initiative by Kyoto makes sense. Will be interested to see what becomes of it after it's introduced to Cabinet.

I think it's a good idea, too, given that Kyoto is famous for its movie and TV production (after all, the Toei Company has their famous Toei Uzumasa Eigamura movie studio museum there), and Toei Animation, Kyoto Animation, and other Japanese animation studios all have major operations in the Kyoto area.
