My brother saw this earlier. I can't wait to try and get one for myself - while Mewtwo isn't my most favorite Pokemon, I won't deny that he is one of my favorites to battle with. ^^

To be more correct, it should just state "Pokemon", especially considering that the games have existed before the anime and the movies. That's like saying that every single Pokemon is a character because it appeared in an episode or a movie. No they're a species of Pokemon. And frankly, this Mewtwo isn't directly based on the one from the movie and special, it's just a Mewtwo knowing different moves that it cannot normally learn. |

And I bet it has an adamant nature with mediocre IVs. The Mewtwo I have took almost a hundred tries to get because I was waiting of that perfect, Modest, 31 SPE/31 SPATK, Mewtwo, so I think I'll keep that one.

The Japanese Mewtwo didn't have any set nature, so I'm guessing it will be the same with this one too. Just prepare for a lot of soft reseting
I can't wait to get the event Mewtwo, since I need to get a good one myself for battles ^^ |

Basically, they reset their system and game an umpteenth (There's a very, very low chance that this happened less than one hundred times.) amount of times in order to get/catch a Mewtwo that will have a perfect (Modest is a possible Pokemon nature that adds to Special Attack.) Special Attack stat and near-perfect Speed stat, which're really the only two stats on a Mewtwo that matter for any reason. People spend a lot of time on getting the best one of a Pocket Monster they want, either for playing the games competitively person-to-person or playing competitively in-game as Game Freak tends to insert into games anymore (i.e. Trainer Towers, Battle Frontiers, Battle Subway). On one hand, it's completely worthwhile for the sake of the game in the end, but on the other it sort of takes the game farther than necessary some may opine.

OK what about the 3 legendaries that have not been released yet?
Keldeo, Meloetta & Genesect? Anyhow, since I traded off my copy of White that had every Pokemon (except those three) caught & in the storage system, I am not going to get this. |

Well, it could be. The Japanese giveaways often give out characters from the anime episode we just watched (at the end of certain episodes, Professor Ookido might pop in and tell you to go download the Pokemon you just saw in this episode off the Wi-Fi or whatever) Off the top of my head, for Best Wishes so far we've got Satoshi's Pikachu (Best Wishes Starter Version) Satoshi's Mamepato Satoshi's Zuruggu Satoshi's Zekrom Satoshi's Resharim Iris' Kibago Dent's Yanappu Janta's Golorg Karita's Sazandra Milos Island's Tornelos Milos Island's Voltolos This particular Mewtwo, I assume, is the one they gave out during Pokemon Smash! last year (Pokemon Smash being another Pocket Monsters TV show, only live-action variety show that does things like... the cast discussing what happen don this week's episode of the anime, cosplay contests, interviews with people and voice-actors who work on the show or games, video game give-aways/contests, preview information on upcoming events/episodes/whatever, battles between people in the game, short sketches, and a variety of other things) I can't remember which episode it was... but if it was spawned from a sketch of a Mewtwo trying to learn a move it can't learn, then technically you can say it's based on a character. |

That was the one thing that kinda irritated me when they brought over Black & White. They changed the name of that Dent character to Cillian (or something like that).
Since my last name IS really Dent... So the "Dent's" would have conquered another cool medium in the USA. |
