Now for the important question: Is Hana-chan an S or an M?

I'm awaiting a license announcement for this show. Here's looking at you Sentai.

Do you mean the show itself, or just the extra episode? Sentai announced their license of the show several weeks ago.

Is this the supah-exciting episode where Rirochiyo agonizes over whether to think about maybe perhaps kind of writing a letter that sort of could indicate a "hello" to Miketsukami while all around her no monsters or anything of interest happens??? I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Because they only pretend to be masochistic by depending on BD sales when they're really and truly sadists.

Ugh...only in Japanese anime fandom can this kind of thing be tolerated...

Nonetheless, I'd love to buy the BD when Sentai releases it. I thought this show would never get a dub but I'm glad I was proven wrong.

If sentai state that they will release it on BD then you have a dub, But if it's only DVD then it's sub only. So, not sure if it will be dubbed as of yet.

We do know.
It was stated in the PR it'll get a DVD and BD.
Which is why Chagen46 said what he said.

I just couldn't get into this series; the episodic series my me bored after about 3 episodes when I realized there was no real story at all. I wonder why they didn't air an episode... that IS a bit interesting.

Maybe they should release it instead on its own Blu-ray/DVD as an OVA, rather than bundling it with the TV episodes? Would you prefer that? Railgun got an OVA two months after the last TV disc release, so it's not a new concept...

Un-aired episodes on the video release is something that's been done for years. The oldest instance that comes immediately to mind (and is very unlikely to have been the first time it happened) because I watched the fansubs and imported the eight R2 DVDs is Kamichu!, which had 12 episodes on TV, and 16 episodes on DVD back in 2006.
