Yoko Kano AND Watanabe?! Be still my heart *swoon*

How is it these two people don't have the industry busting down their doors at all times?! They are the very definition of "Win!"

I don't really have any idea who Motohiro Hata is, but I have high hopes.

The name I'd really like to see show up is Mai Yamane. Her collaborations with Yoko Kanno on Cowboy Bebop were terrific. I still sometimes can't believe that such a deep, full, smokey voice came from a Japanese woman.

Kids on the Slope the 'word of God' for the English title? I can believe it, but I'd been using Apollo on the Slope, which I believe is a literal translation of the Japanese title of the manga.

Motohiro Hata is a great singer/song writer/performer I've been a fan since I first heard him in Itazura na kiss but he dozens of great songs (of course, in my opinion) so this is pure win

Kids on the Slope is the official english title requested by the manga author explicitly.

Actually I was involved with giving a number of other suggestions, but...
Gotta respect the author's wishes so that's the way it is.
