I'd be buying these FOR the Blu-rays; if they contain a Japanese language track, that is. If it's that same '90s Manga Video dub for the Movie only, forget it.

Well, there goes any plans to buy anything during the Summer as if Shout's 40-disc Power Rangers set was bad enough on the wallet. Anime dazed

Agreed. Although Part of me is hesitant to dedicate myself to purchasing this set, since Capcom has kind of been primarily disappointing as a company overall the past few years.

But hey, I guess A nice set like this deserves the purchase, And why punish the kid (game) because they have a crappy parent(company), lol. Laughing

I wonder if the SF TV is the Street Fighter II V ? If those are remastered with proper opening and Ending then cool else no thanks.

After thinking about it a bit more, i've decided i'll pass on this set because knowing how they have treated the Street Fighter II & IV films for past releases (Street Fighter Anniversary Collection & Street Fighter IV Collector's Edition), i doubt this set will be any better plus the former will most likely be a cheap upscale.

My guess is that it'll be the American Cartoon that ADV used to release here on DVD.

I wonder if there'll be a Mega Man anniversary set, too.

I know that the first one is crap among a lot, but still, the second anniversary collection and still no original SF...

That's what I imagined, too, but assuming the Street Fighter II movie will be ported straight from Manga Entertainment's DVD release, I guess Street Fighter II V could get the same treatment, but that would mean no original OPs and EDs.

What system are the games going to be available on? I hope they give us a choice and not just either 360 or PS3. This sounds like an amazing set.

Considering what Capcom is squeezing onto the 2 BDs,
I highly doubt SFII: The Animated Movie (or the Street Fighter cartoon series) will be upscaled at all.
Plus, they'll probably use the PG-13 version of the film, to boot.
If you have the Manga Ent. re-release on DVD,
which has the "extended," unrated English version &
the original Japanese version on a double-sided disc,
then that fact shouldn't bother you.

According to this article the set is for both PS3 & 360.
But, I'll be pre-ordering this for PS3 and trading in/deleting my 360 versions just to be safe,
since the promo vid only showed it for PS3
and the video content is on BDs, not DVDs.

That's actually a really good value for the price. Hopefully it hits 360.

Does anyone else find it funny that this is the second "Anniversary Collection" to be released by Capcom that doesn't come with the original Street Fighter? You know, the game they're supposedly celebrating?
